A Journey with Time to Discover

A PLANNED LEARNING JOURNEY
Expressions of interest · no payment
Build with imagination. Explore with purpose. Discover Sichuan at a thoughtful pace, then turn real observations into an original panda-themed robotics project.
THE CAMP POSTER
AI-generated concept poster. It does not depict actual camp participants, confirmed locations, partner communities or previous student projects. Final venues and activities may differ.
EXPLORE THE CAMP
Planned programme; the route and activities are subject to confirmation. Base and robotics photos show existing work; nature and community scenes are AI concepts. None document this camp having taken place.

THREE STAGES
01 / REST & RESEARCH
Allow time to recover from travel, meet the team and start with questions, sketches and an initial prototype.
02 / EXPLORE SICHUAN
Planned experiences include panda observation, Bipenggou nature, supervised camping activities, respectful community exchange and the Emei area. Host agreement, availability, weather and age-appropriate planning determine the final activities.
03 / BUILD & SHARE
Plan approximately three full project days in Chengdu for redesign, building, programming, testing and a final showcase. Departure is a separate day.
FROM QUESTION TO PROTOTYPE
Start with your own question.
Collect observations in the real world.
Sketch an idea and explain your choices.
Create a brick-based robotics prototype.
Try, learn and improve.
Share the process and your contribution.
Age-appropriate teams use brick-based robotics and a challenge table. Educational models, a process record and a showcase are the intended outputs; no official competition award is promised.
THE CHENGDU STARTING POINT

Our approximately 1,500 m² Chengdu base provides an educational setting for project preparation, robotics learning, workshops and partner visits. The camp’s hotel accommodation will be arranged separately.
See the spaces and capabilitiesBEFORE FORMAL BOOKING
The final programme will set out accommodation standards, staffing, outdoor conditions, supervised camping arrangements and alternatives. Community or school exchange depends on real host consent; no staged classroom or guaranteed wildlife contact is offered.
Promising ideas may receive optional online mentor feedback. Public sharing or any commercial collaboration requires separate guardian permission and agreed terms; no income, investment or commercial outcome is promised.
Independently organised by Steamland Global. This is not an official LEGO competition or an event endorsed by the LEGO Group.
